Your Role At Iver

At Iver, we are transforming the services we offer our customers, and cloud and AI technology will be at the forefront of this transformation. We accelerate the transition to the cloud using hyperautomation and AI to migrate and modernize applications from traditional data centers to cloud-based solutions.

We are raising the bar for how applications can be cloudified and migrated quickly and with low risk where needed, while also applying cutting-edge modernization techniques such as containerization, database services (PaaS), serverless solutions, and microservices.

Examples Of Tasks

• Evaluate existing .NET applications, infrastructure, and dependencies to understand the current environment and migrate .NET applications to Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or Azure Functions.
• Develop a detailed migration strategy, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Upgrade or modify existing .NET codebases (e.g., from .NET Framework to .NET Core/5/6) to ensure compatibility with Azure.
• Migrate servers from on-premises (VMware) to the cloud (Azure), focusing on building new servers in Azure.
• Tenant migration (M365): Leverage experience from tenant migration to M365 for a smooth cloud transition.
• Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
• Migrate existing infrastructure services to cloud-based solutions.
• Manage security and access controls for cloud-based solutions to ensure compliance and protection.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using cloud-native tools to ensure automated, consistent, and reliable application deployments.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is, or wants to become, an expert in migrating IT solutions to Azure. You have documented experience of executing migration projects to Azure or other cloud platforms and migrating and modernizing applications to Azure. You have experience working in agile environments and project formats where adapting to changing requirements and timelines is part of your daily routine.

Your experience has equipped you with the ability to identify and solve complex problems during migration processes and ensure that all parts of the project progress as planned. You can communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise way, and you thrive in a team-oriented environment, collaborating effectively with other technical experts, project managers, and customers to achieve success.

We Also Believe You Have

• 3-5+ years of experience or equivalent in implementing and deploying within the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Strong understanding of Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, and Azure Security.
• Experience using Azure Migrate and other migration tools to simplify and accelerate the migration process.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud solutions such as IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless.
• Good understanding of network infrastructure, security, and data protection in the cloud.
• Strong skills in automation and scripting with tools like PowerShell or C#.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft tools and platforms such as Azure, Office 365, Power BI, Active Directory, Intune, etc
  
  

Location

Iver operates in 25 locations across Sweden and Norway. For this role, we expect you to work from one of our offices in Stockholm, Oslo, Malmö or Gothenburg.
