The opportunity

We are looking for strategy professionals to join our team in Turkey at the Senior Manager level in any of these sectors: generalist, energy, utility, financial services, telecommunications, automotive, retail, chemicals, transportation & logistics, industrial manufacturing.

As part of EY Parthenon Strategy, you will have a leading role in the development and execution of the strategy services in Turkey.

You will work with a high-performing, integrated team which focuses on a variety of global and local corporate clients and private equity clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

In this role you will advise clients on developing strategic opportunities by providing in-depth industry, market, competitor and customer insights. Together with a wider team, you will help them implement their strategic plans by leveraging business, financial, operational and technology perspectives across their organization. In addition, you will contribute to the development of a team that can provide board level strategic advice and winning large strategy and transformation engagements that leverage the wider competencies of EY as well as raise EY's profile in the market.

As a Senior Manager, you’ll typically be responsible for leading clients, workstreams and engagements, translating client needs into project tasks and deliverables, manage day-to-day problem-solving and team analytical activities, and serve as key liaisons between consulting team members, EY-Parthenon Senior Directors and Partners, and our clients.

You’ll also be involved in developing proposals and bids, and actively contribute to EY-Parthenon thought leadership and internal operational initiatives.

This will include:

• Build and maintain long term relationships with senior clients
• Develop the business and acquire new clients and engagements
• Lead client projects and engagement teams to deliver high quality outputs
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of all phases and aspects of strategy development and implementation
• Identify opportunities for other EY service lines
• Successfully supervise, coach, and mentor all levels of staff

Skills And Attributes For Success

• At minimum, a bachelor's degree from a top-ranking school in Turkey, Europe or US with outstanding academic performance, preferably in the field of Engineering, Economics, Business Administration
• Past or recent strategy consulting experience at a strategy consulting house is a prerequisite
• At least 8+ years working experience in a strategy advisory company and/or in a corporate strategy department
• Experience with managing multiple complex business projects in parallel
• Experience in practice development and management, including staffing, learning, performance management, offering/topic development, etc.
• Strong internal and external business development/commercial acumen - track record in business development and sales of consulting services
• Entrepreneurial spirit, team player and excellent networker - ability to connect with the EY Global network
• Experience in a thought leadership role, demonstrated through writing (blog, white paper, etc.) and/or speaking engagements
• Strong people and leadership skills (incl. cross-functional collaboration, team management and people development & coaching)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in both Turkish and English
