DevOps Architect

Job description

The client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Composable/DevOps Architect to join our commerce team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in headless/composable architecture and cloud technologies, with a focus on implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. This role requires a strategic thinker who can design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as Solution architect in headless/composable architecture

• 3+ years of experience in Cloud tech (Azure/AWS)

o Function-as-a-Service providers (Azure Functions/AWS Lambda) or container services (Azure container apps/Amazon ECS)

o Event bus providers (Azure Service Bus/AWS SQS/AWS EventBridge)

• Experience implementing Terraform IaC platform into the composable architecture

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices

o CI/CD pipelines and tools (Azure Devops or equivalent)

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and API Management (Azure APIM)

• Knowledge of CDN/WAF systems (Azure Front Door)

• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.

• Experience integrating with composable tools (Commercetools, SendGrid, …)

• Experience with headless frontend architecture (NextJS, Node.js, …)

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools in composable context
