React Frontend Developer and Test Engineer

We are opening a position of React Frontend Developer and Test Engineer to strengthen the team of our client based in Geneva.

You are extremely rigorous, and you have a proven experience in the development using React, with mission-critical software. You are looking for a challenge in a complex technical environment. As a member of a highly qualified team, you will participate in software development and testing of our solution. A high amount of autonomy and personal commitment is necessary

• Participate to the Agile/Scrum events.

• Collaborate with the systems end users and other teams to understand business needs and functional specifications.

• Perform analysis of defects/incidents to find the root cause of problem.

• Design, implement and test React solutions.

• Participate in the industrialization process using DEVOPS concepts.

• Create and maintain the technical documentation (software requirements specification, detail design, test cases, traceability, architecture documentation).

• Review and test against the Software Requirements Specification and establish test traceability.

• Review source code to ensure its adequation with the specifications.

• Write automatic test scripts for test automation environment.

• Execute manual and automatic tests and report results.

• Analyse and describe issues/bugs in our issues Database.

• Synchronize and update the Test Results Management tool.

• Perform formal system tests (Factory Acceptance Test).

• A JavaScript and REACT development experience is required (Knowledge of PixiJS is a plus).

• An experience in JAVA and/or Golang is appreciated.

• At least 5 years of experience in Software Development and Testing.

• Strong analysis skills that allow you to understand the business of the existing application.

• Familiar with Continuous Integration platform and DEVOPS concepts in a Java and/or Golang environment (Github actions, Maven, Git)

• Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (using gRPC, protobuf, REST, …)

• Organized with an ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and utilize time effectively.

• Proven experience in the software testing. An experience of Cypress and Jest is appreciated.

• Adaptable, autonomous, rigorous and you appreciate teamwork.

• Taste for challenge and enjoy working in stimulating and/or dynamic environment.

• Fluent written and spoken French and English is required.
