Full Stack Developer

As a Fullstack Developer, you will work on the new implementations and maintenance of “hi” – Digital Attitude’s digital platform.

Using a range of different technologies and languages, you will be responsible for approaching the software holistically, focusing on developing bugless & efficient features/products, but keeping in mind the ultimate user experience.

We aim to give everyone a digital coach during their work life, you will directly support this, developing powerful and innovative features of Digital Attitude’s product that will be on your coding hands.

REPORTS TO: Fullstack Engineering manager

LOCATION: Milano or Remote (Italy)

You Will:

• Develop hi new features and products, writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end.
• Be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
• Participate in the design and creation of scalable software, contributing to engineering strategy and development.
• Fix and retest bugs or other coding issues.
• Design and write effective APIs.
• Ensure responsiveness of applications.

AS AN IDEAL CANDIDATE YOU HAVE…

Hard skills:

• Minimum 2 years prior experience in a similar role.
• Experience with GIT, Javascript (nodejs and reactjs in specific), CSS, HTML, Typescript (or interest in it)
• Knowledge of multiple AWS products and technologies. In specific: S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, CDK, ECS.
• Software design and implementation; capability of outlining and discussing fullstack solutions, taking into account also non-functional requirements

Soft skills:

• Intellectual curiosity and openness to evaluate new tech and paradigms.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Focus on problem solving and performance, through teamwork and caring for your own wellbeing.
• Independence and entrepreneurial approach. Emotional and management capabilities that allow you to effectively handle uncertainty and chaos (e.g. raise requests for support, outline a plan, reframe the problem, keep the morale up etc.).
• A good level of communication in English or Italian.
• You're eager to listen to feedback, demonstrating a growth mindset, always striving to improve and grow.

WE’LL CONSIDER IT A PLUS IF YOU HAVE…

• Advanced fluency in English
• High formal Education and can reason about data structures, transactions, concurrency etc
• In-depth experience with react and javascript and web development. Experience with or interest in Typescript
• Experience as an open source maintainer
• Experience with popular react libraries and frameworks such as: redux, formik, mui, ant design, nextjs
• Experience in developing cross platform solutions, browser extensions, mobile applications.
• Experience in SaaS industry.
• Experience in testing and browser automation tooling such as Puppeteer, Playwright
• Experience with module bundlers such as webpack and web content optimization strategies
• Experience with Aws Cli, nodejs scripting with Aws js sdk. Experience with Aws cdk. Aws certified developer or similar certification
• Experience in serverless, cloud-native development mode.
