AI Research Engineer Position

To strengthen AI competences inside the company and to reinforce the team of our AI-modelling product nvision, we are urgently looking for a highly skilled AI Research Engineer to research and develop methodologies for machine learning, distributed GPU/CPU computing and predictive modelling techniques to improve and support the engineering design and production processes.

Job description

In your role as AI Research Engineer, you contribute to the implementation of state-of-the-art algorithms that will be deployed in our products. You will be working in a team of research engineers to deliver high quality and efficient algorithms. Always searching for the best solutions, driven by passion for programming and with an eye for detail, you are not satisfied with average solutions. Your drive for excellence, analytical skills and focused attitude result in correct and efficient code. You operate in a dynamic international environment in which requirements change quickly.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Developing core AI-driven technologies to streamline the engineering design processes of our customers
• Researching and developing state-of-the-art AI models to replace traditional CAE simulations
• Ensuring that models are interpretable, reliable, and tailored to engineering applications
• Validating and optimizing algorithms to achieve the highest quality and performance
• Constantly monitoring technological trends and identify actions to improve Noesis’ competences in this area

Qualifications:

• M.Sc. degree in Computer engineering, Data Science, Computer Science or equivalent
• Ph.D. is a plus

Required skills:

• Strong software programming skills – experience with Python or other (C/C++) object-oriented programming languages is needed
• Well established knowledge of Deep Neural Networks (DNN), Convolutional Neural Networks, and Graph Neural Network
• Experience with machine-learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX
• Experience with parallel GPU programming and AI workloads optimization
• Solid understanding of CAE simulation concepts and related AI modelling challenges.
• Ability to conduct independent research and solve complex technical problems.
• Working proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a must
