Charterhouse is working with a global logistics company that is looking to hire a Cybersecurity specialist to join the Dubai based office. This is a great opportunity to join an established company within a niche logistics field. The company has a very important mission and what they do affects people across the world.

This Cybersecurity Specialist will be joining a lean IT team and will be liaising with colleagues based in Europe, Middle East and Asia. This role will be responsible for implementing best security practices and will be training colleagues and stakeholders on the do’s and don’ts. The Cybersecurity Specialist will be seen as an ambassador for cybersecurity within the business. Aside from teaching, this role will be in charge of implementing processes and systems that the business will be using on daily basis.

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Certifications from CISSP, CEH or CISM would be highly desirable for this role.

The ideal candidate will need to have a minimum of 3+ years of experience working within a cybersecurity role. Our client is looking for someone that has strong expertise in security frameworks and architecture. This Specialist will also need to have a good exposure to security tools and monitoring systems. This will be the first hire in Cybersecurity for the business, so the successful application will be required to communicate with all offices across the globe, and will look for an introduction to the best tools and systems.

Excellent communication skills in English are essential for this position as the successful candidate will be teaching the business about the best processes and will need to be able to get their point across clearly and efficiently.
