What daily challenges are waiting for you?

  • Recommending infrastructure and process improvements.
  • Ensuring high availability and acceptable levels of performance of critical systems.
  • Keeping on top of current and emerging technological advancements, making company-relevant application recommendations when appropriate.
  • Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running.
  • Solving malfunctions and issues reported by users.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness and efficiency of each solution and optimization of already existing solutions.

What you need to be successful in this role?

  • High English proficiency – both written and verbal.
  • Problem solving.
  • Learning and adapting fast to new technologies.
  • Working with minimal supervision on technical issues.
  • Sharing technical knowledge with other members of the infrastructure team - offering guidance and support where necessary.
  • Experience with similar stack:

System Environment

  • GCP - multi project, multi cluster setup
  • Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, Alpine)
  • Kubernetes, Docker/containerd
  • Istio, HAProxy, Nginx, IPsec
  • Databases, MQs and KVs: MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Redis, PubSub, Vault, Consul

Management: ArgoCD, Terraform, Helm, Jenkins, Gitlab, Ansible

Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, EFK/ECK

Scripting: Bash, Python or Golang
