Full-stack developer (Backend focused)

As a backend-focused full-stack developer, you will be writing efficient code and maintaining secure applications and play a crucial role in our development process. Our partner is a successful shipping company specialising in over-sized cargo and vehicle shipment worldwide from US. The business turns around well over a hundred thousand vehicles per year and has outgrown its in-house developed business management system. To enable business growth a third-party website enhancing solution is being kicked off with an objective of generating more revenue for its direct customers.

As a Node.js developer you will:

• Implement features based on business requirements
• Suggest best suiting technical solutions and help shape the product
• Write well-designed, efficient code
• Review, test and debug code
• Identify and resolve codebase security vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with colleagues in agile environment

We expect you to:

• Have a strong proficiency in backend development with Nest.js, Typescript
• Have some experience with ReactJS or other front-end technologies
• Understanding of web application security principles and best practices
• Have experience with web server technologies: HTTP servers, WebSockets, caching, proxies, load balancers, REST APIs and Microservices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues

Salary

Gross salary FROM 4,500 EUR based on skills and experience.

Work from anywhere - see you online. We have offices in old-town Vilnius when you need or feel like coming in.
