Join our team as a Data Science Leader!

What You’ll Do:

Data Science:

• Ensure data quality by cleaning and transforming it into a usable format.
• Analyze data using statistical, mathematical, and computational techniques.
• Build, maintain, and experiment with predictive models and algorithms to solve business problems.
• Train and support the Demand Planning team on planning tools related to data science, machine learning, and algorithm usage (e.g., o9).
• Conceive, plan, and prioritize data projects. Present findings through reports, dashboards, and visualizations.

Demand Management & Accuracy:

• Perform weekly checks on MAPE and BIAS at the PN level.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning Teams and CM to align assumptions at meaningful levels.
• Follow defined standards and guidelines, proposing and implementing continuous improvements.

Internal Alignment and Collaboration:

• Deploy GEM for business process excellence.
• Drive the annual SDP process and lead key projects using Six Sigma principles.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Desk Specialists, Sales Team, Marketing Team, and Industry Insight Team to develop and manage demand forecasts proactively.
• Ensure adherence to standard data management and demand planning processes to meet functional KPIs (MAPE, BIAS, Inventory, E&O, Premium Freight).
• Lead, support, and report statistical analysis on demand forecasts and related KPIs.

What We Need:

• Education: Post Graduate & / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics and Business Administration, Engineering or related areas.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in demand planning / customer service, sales and supply chain or data science with good knowledge on the data science lifecycle. Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Language: English. Other European language proficiency added advantage.
• Knowledge: Proficiency in Programming, i.e. Python, R, SQL
