Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bitcoin Trader & Portfolio Manager to lead our trading strategies, manage portfolios, and optimize performance in global cryptocurrency markets. The ideal candidate will have expertise in proprietary trading, portfolio management, and risk analysis, specifically within the Bitcoin ecosystem. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, algorithmic strategies, and execution efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute Bitcoin trading strategies across spot and derivatives markets.
• Manage proprietary trading portfolios, ensuring consistent risk-adjusted returns.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify market inefficiencies and arbitrage opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and blockchain developments to inform strategies.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and developers to enhance algorithmic trading systems.
• Optimize portfolio allocation and hedge positions to maximize profitability and mitigate risk.
• Execute trades efficiently across multiple exchanges and platforms.
• Develop performance reports and analytics for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and internal risk management policies.
• Provide insights on emerging opportunities within the Bitcoin and broader cryptocurrency ecosystem.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in proprietary trading, asset management, or crypto trading.
• Proven track record of profitable trading strategies, particularly in Bitcoin.
• Trading records showing past performance which can authenticated
• Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, market structures, and order book dynamics.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or C++ is a plus.
• Experience with trading platforms, APIs, and order execution systems.
• Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and make quick, data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and compliance requirements for proprietary trading firms.
