Cloud Network Security Engineer

Proclinical is partnering with a Health Care company seeking a Cloud Network Security Engineer to join their team in Zurich. In this role, you will focus on managing and enhancing network security solutions within cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration with on-prem infrastructure. This position requires a proactive approach to monitoring and responding to security incidents, as well as developing automation tools to streamline network security processes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and document network security solutions in the cloud.
• Design, implement, and optimize network security solutions, acting as a platform manager.
• Monitor network and security infrastructure, conduct fault analysis, and troubleshoot issues.
• Respond to security incidents and threats, including participating in on-call service.
• Develop automation tools to optimize repetitive network security tasks.
• Support internal teams in configuring secure network services and implementing security policies.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of public cloud, IaC/Terraform, ZTNA, WAF, proxies, firewalling, routing, and switching.
• Experience with technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Zscaler, and Cloudflare.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with an interest in new technologies.
• Technical training in computer science, cloud technologies, or telecommunications with a focus on IT security.
• Fluency in German and English.
