Settlements Analyst - Crypto Exchange

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the settlement of trades, ensuring accuracy and compliance with our operational and regulatory standards.
• Manage and understand banking rails and wallet infrastructures to facilitate seamless movement of funds between liquidity providers, banks, and exchanges.
• Work with major cryptocurrencies, ensuring a deep understanding of their nuances to optimize settlement processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot settlement issues and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with external banking and liquidity partners, ensuring alignment and efficiency in operations.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve settlement workflows and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years in settlements and trade operations in crypto
• Crypto Knowledge: Strong familiarity with major cryptocurrencies, OTC markets, and their specific settlement processes.
• Technical Expertise:
• Deep understanding of banking systems, rails, and liquidity provider (LP) operations.
• Experience with exchanges and the movement of funds across platforms.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to understand and navigate complex financial systems and trade nuances.
• Mindset: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept at troubleshooting.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
