Exciting Opportunity: Data Architect (Remote - Dubai Bank)

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join a renowned bank based in Dubai, with remote work flexibility. If you have a passion for designing innovative data solutions and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Design data models, pipelines, and end-to-end architecture
• Implement data solutions that ensure accuracy, scalability, and security
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective data strategies
• Lead and mentor Data Engineers in pipeline design, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Drive capacity planning and cost optimization for Azure cloud services
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies for quality and security
  
  

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience, with at least 7+ years in data architecture
• Strong expertise in Cloudera, Apache Kafka, Azure Data Services (ADF, Databricks, Cosmos DB)
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cosmos DB)
• Proven success in designing high-performance, scalable data architectures
• Experience with batch and streaming data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Kafka
• Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science or related field
