About the Role:

As a leader within the team, you are both a technical SME and a people leader. You’ll lead, coach and mentor those in your squad and help them continuously improve. You will also be ‘on the tools’, building robust, scalable, and maintainable front-end architecture as we evolve their technology.

As you progress in this role, you're time 'on the tools' will become less of a focus as you transition into the role of Engineering Manager with 4-5 squads reporting to you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively in a global team environment
• Manage/coach teams of engineers and/or squads
• Deliver enterprise-grade Frontend applications in an Agile environment
• Develop and support web-based SaaS application production in an AWS ecosystem

Experience we are looking for:

• Understand the start-up environment and working collaboratively in a distributed team environment
• Experience managing/coaching engineers and/or squads
• Aspirations to become an Engineering Manager within 12 months and lead 4-5 squads
• Experience in Frontend Engineering using React, Typescript, and Javascript in an AWS environment
• Experience in designing and architecting enterprise grade frontend applications
• Experience in architecting, designing, building and supporting enterprise-grade SDK
• B2B FinTech, payment experience is a bonus
