Job Purpose
The Data Analyst will report to the Provider Services Manager and take an active role in ensuring the integrity of our data quality. The Data Analyst will develop reports and dashboards to meet business needs and act as the subject matter expert in our software systems and data collection processes to help improve operational effectiveness. The Data Analyst will also be responsible for contributing quantitative data to all Provider Services projects.

Job Purpose
The Data Analyst will report to the Provider Services Manager and take an active role in ensuring the integrity of our data quality. The Data Analyst will develop reports and dashboards to meet business needs and act as the subject matter expert in our software systems and data collection processes to help improve operational effectiveness. The Data Analyst will also be responsible for contributing quantitative data to all Provider Services projects.
Your Role
- Conducts routine and ad hoc data quality and assurance checks for reports and dashboards
- Manages documentation on data quality checks and procedures in accordance with internal standards and guidelines
- Creates new processes and procedures for identifying and tracking data quality issues
- Prepares and presents summary data quality reports and presentations
- Engages and presents information to clients and stakeholders
- Generate reports about your validation results
- Documents all logic and data quality issues; works to resolve them; reports progress on problem resolution to management
- Suggests improvements to current procedures and looks for new ways to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Performs workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements to upstream processes where data quality issues exist
- Maintains expert level of business functional knowledge for an assigned data domain
- Promotes a high level of data quality awareness across our organization
- Participates in lean six sigma process improvement projects and Kaizens
- Creates dashboards to track incremental project improvements as well as measuring overall KPI’s for the organization
- 4+ years of Business experience and a minimum of 1 years in a Data analyst role in an ERP environment
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Strong knowledge of System Architectures and Databases Structures, especially with SAP
- Strong Business process acumen and understanding of the interplay with Data quality
- Microsoft Office/Suite proficient (Access, Excel, Project, Visio, etc.)
- Solid problem solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Prior use in business intelligence tools such Business Objects or reporting tools such as Crystal Reports
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma Methodology methods
- Lead data projects with IT teams about building dashboards, multi-dimensional models on SSAS and designing the user experience on POWER BI.
