My client are looking to hire a Machine Learning Engineer to strengthen their Data Science Team in streamlining current & future Machine Learning Projects.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Design & Implement highly automated Data Pipelines.
  • Design & optimize Distributed Training of Large Models.
  • Regularly assess emerging tools and frameworks to enhance the machine learning lifecycle.
  • Write clean, maintainable code, conduct thorough code reviews, perform rigorous testing, and ensure seamless deployment to deliver high-quality code to production.
  • Work closely with bioinformaticians, software engineers, and compliance officers to create reliable, transparent, and effective solutions.


Who you are:


  • Work in Oslo, Norway on a hybrid basis.
  • Ms Degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
  • Extensive experience in designing and building ML and ETL/ELT data pipelines.
  • Proficient in Python programming and its ecosystem.
  • Skilled in machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, Keras, or similar.
  • Committed to developing clean, maintainable, scalable, and robust software solutions.
  • Background or enthusiasm for molecular biology, bioinformatics, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP is a plus.
  • Passionate about optimizing ML/DL training pipelines, including distributed training, TensorFlow pipeline optimization, and leveraging GPUs for training.
