Overview:

The Front Office team partners with portfolio management, risk teams and economists to provide applications for data-analysis and improved workflows.

As the UI Development Lead you will work with portfolio managers and strategists to drive new products for Front Office, work with quantitative developers to deliver robust and efficient system architectures as well as steer and ensure the technical architecture for the products delivered are sound.

Essential experience & knowledge required:

• Front Office and / or Fixed income product knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of Typescript and React
• Experience architecting single-page applications
• Comfortable wireframing and breaking down requirements into deliverables
• Previous experience leading a small team
• Exposure to JavaScript charting/visualisation libraries
• Testing React apps using Storybook and MSW
• Exposure to building desktop apps with Electron
• Comfortable with NoSQL/relational databases
• Comfortable with Node and Python
• Strong understanding of common data structures
