The Role

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join the post of Senior Software Engineer with a solid knowledge in Laravel and Symfony, who is dedicated to the craft, writes code that he is proud of; an individual with inspiring tech vision who can develop his leadership skills within our team and create complex software solutions using the latest recourses that we can offer.

This is an exciting new opportunity to become a core member of a small but growing team of developers working in the technology space. The perfect candidate must be comfortable working both individually with complete ownership of tasks, but also be an enthusiastic team player.

• Stage-Dominating Development - command the spotlight and showcase your mastery of PHP, Laravel/Symfony, JavaScript, and other web technologies to develop and elevate our internal workspace application to the next level of greatness.
• Guitar-Shredding Backend Development - strum the strings of innovation as you craft t and lightning-fast server-side components using the Laravel/Symfony framework. Set the rhythm by implementing APIs, orchestrating database interactions, and harmonizing business logic.
• Frontend Solo Performance - take centre stage and create mind-blowing, responsive interfaces using vue.js. Let your creativity soar as you ensure cross- browser compatibility and accessibility for an awe-inspiring user experience.
• Design the application architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and seamless integration with MongoDB.
• Lead the charge by reviewing code submissions from fellow developers, providing insightful feedback, and guiding them toward greatness.
• Compose epic technical documentation that tells the story of our application's architecture, APIs, and code. Leave a legacy that ensures future generations understand and maintain our masterpiece.
• Research and Continuous Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve and embrace the rhythm of ever-evolving industry trends and cutting-edge technologies. Share your knowledge with the team, energize the development process, and amplify our collective expertise.

Requirements:

• 4+ years’ experience with modern PHP development strategies.
• Solid working experience using the Laravel or Symfony framework
• Solid working experience with basic database fundamentals, data modelling,
• and optimization. (MySQL preferred)
• Experience with Vue.js
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience managing releases through CI/CD (We are currently using Forge) but
• you may be asked to use CD – deployment in future
• Experience with Big Data
• Good English language skills – writing and verbal
