Position: Operating Systems Developer for Embedded Systems (C/C++; Linux)

Location: Portugal (Hybrid/Remote)

What You’ll Do:

• Generation of Operating System images for embedded devices, device driver development/adaptation, networking configuration.
• Operating System embedded (ARM/ PPC based).
• Participate in the complete development cycle, including design, implementation and testing.

What We’re Looking For:

• Linux development in user space and kernel space, device drivers, and knowledge of Linux Preempt RT extensions.
• Knowledge of Image Generation tools (Yocto, open embedded).
• Good C/C++ programming skills
• Knowledge of communication networks (protocols, topologies …).
• Good problem solving skills.

Nice to Have:

• Compiling/Linking tools: GCC, GCC toolchains, work in a cross-compiling environment.
• Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc).
• Python and Bash scripting skills.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts (certificates, secure protocols, openSSH, openLDAP, filesystem encryption including key storage on TPM, firewall.).
• Networking: Development of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network applications
• Synchronization: IEEE 1588v2 / PTP protocol, real time systems synchronization.
• Virtualization: Docker, KVM, etc.
