Data Analyst

Background

• As a data specialist you will be supporting our Content Management teams , most notably - and hopefully familiar to you - Ratings & Reviews, and by extension User Generated Content.
• A front-end, allowing us to display R&R and UGC in an optimal away to our visitors.
• A back-end, allowing us to monitor, moderate, and validate the content that is sent in, because naturally not all of the content that is sent is on par with how we communicate to our visitors.
• The front-end work will involve working with the team on ideas, designs, and hypothesis and actively testing (new) features in the market by means of A/B testing. We use Optimizely Feature Experimentation and our own in-house analytical tooling which requires SQL skills. Additionally, it involves aligning with stakeholders on changes made - the how, the wat, and the why - as these products interface on a myriad of places with their own intents and purposes.
• The team also has a few existing dashboards in Looker Studio that help them gain insight in their day-to-day performance. You'll be helping optimise these dashboards and perhaps, if so desired by the team, introduce new features there.
• The back-end work is mostly about the process we have in place for review and imagery submission and validation, which will be in part SQL and in part more Engineering-related tools.
• Beside the teams listed prior, we are running 2 larger scale initiatives:
• moving to a headless CMS.
• visibility on content performance.
• We will expect general support on these topics (e.g. how would you measure performance of an image asset , what type of data would need to be in place, how do you set a decent OKR or choose a monitoring metric for a certain business questions). There are other teams working these topics, but your input and thoughts are valued here and they of course closely line up with what happens in R&R and UGC.

Requirements:

• Must: analytical skills, SQL, certain degree of stakeholder management, certain extent of knowledge when it comes to funnels (e.g. inputs that come in and follow a set process before achieving an end state), knowledge of experimentation (e.g. A/B testing)
• Nice: experience with GCP, BigQuery, Python (Notebooks), familiar in an FMCG of retail sector, eager to learn, team player, familiar in an eCommerce environment
• SQL, knowledge of experimentation, knowledge of funnels.
