(Senior) Testing Designer

We are looking for a Senior Testing Designer, who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the full solution by designing, implementing, and managing testing strategies, including test automation. This role requires a deep understanding of IT infrastructure to validate system compatibility, scalability, and performance. The Testing Designer will also support customer projects as a technical expert when needed.

Responsibilities Of This Role Include

Test Design & Strategy:

• Develop and implement comprehensive testing plans for the full solution, ensuring compatibility with diverse IT infrastructure environments.
• Design and maintain test cases, scenarios, and scripts that reflect real-world use cases and customer infrastructure.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management (CPO), and Operations (COO) teams to ensure test strategies align with product, infrastructure, and operational requirements.
  
  

Test Automation

• Define, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Develop automated test scripts that account for variations in IT infrastructure setups, such as cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Ensure automated tests are integrated into CI/CD pipelines and validate compatibility across multiple system configurations.
  
  

Infrastructure Testing

• Conduct performance, scalability, and reliability testing of solutions in diverse IT environments.
• Validate compatibility with network configurations, hardware setups, and infrastructure-related dependencies.
• Ensure testing covers areas such as system availability, fault tolerance, and security compliance.
  
  

Testing Execution

• Perform hands-on testing, including integration, system, regression, and performance testing across different infrastructure setups.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development and IT teams to resolve issues.
• Document and share testing results, providing actionable insights to improve system quality.
  
  

Customer Project Support

• Act as a technical expert for customer projects, ensuring smooth integration of solutions into customer IT infrastructures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues during project delivery.
• Provide feedback to R&D and Product teams based on customer project experiences to enhance product performance in varied IT environments.
  
  

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

• Stay updated on the latest IT infrastructure trends, technologies, and testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to ensure testing strategies reflect current infrastructure best practices.
• Foster a culture of quality, embedding infrastructure considerations into all phases of testing and development.
  
  

You might be the person we're looking for if you have:

• Proven experience in software testing with Python and C++ with expertise in test automation tools and frameworks.
• Interest and ability to design and implement testing environments for different use cases across company needs.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including cloud platforms, networking, server environments, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated testing into development workflows.
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools like Prometheus and techniques for performance and scalability testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages used for test automation.

• Experience supporting customer projects or acting as a technical consultant.
