JOB DESCRIPTION


  • University degree in Mathematics, Computer Sciences, equivalent education, or relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum eight years’ experience in the IS field, with relevant experience on implementing AI systems and AI models.
  • At least one major AI project completed from feasibility study through to post implementation review, with responsibility as principal analyst at each stage of development.
  • Broad technical background in the area of IT infrastructure and applications including Systems, ERP, EDI, Internet technology, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), network and systems security.
  • Proven ability to manage all aspects of projects composed of teams of internal staff and one or multiple contractor companies.
  • Very good written and communication skills in technical and non-technical areas with technicians and non-technical managers in an often-stressful environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing.
  • Knowledge and experience with programming languages like Python, Java or R.
  • Experience with AI-related frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch and others.
  • Knowledge and experience of AI Data Analysis tools.
  • Knowledge and proven experience on process and data modeling applied to large IT systems.
  • Very good systems analysis, IT development methodologies skills and proven ability to develop and document IS concepts and architectures.
  • Good knowledge of multi-tiered, SOA and cloud architectures, as well as experience in software and process modeling techniques.

POST DETAILS


  • Basic monthly salary: EUR 9,083.62, tax free.
  • Post to be filled subject to final approval as of 01 January 2025.

NSPA internal candidates must submit additionally their latest completed performance report.

NSPA staff members of the same grade can submit a transfer request till 03 November 2024.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Qualified redundant NATO civilian candidates of the same grade will be considered in priority.

Interviews are expected to be held approximately six weeks after the application closing date. The Talent Acquisition and Development Office shall let you know in due course the outcome of the screening process.

Moreover, due to the broad interest in NSPA and the large number of potential candidates, telephone or email enquiries cannot be dealt with.
