Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Development and Operations:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes using DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

Cybersecurity Implementation:

• Integrate robust security practices into cloud infrastructure and DevOps workflows.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to address risks.
• Monitor and mitigate cybersecurity threats, ensuring data protection through encryption and compliance with relevant standards.

Incident Response and Recovery:

• Lead incident response and recovery efforts for cloud infrastructure issues.
• Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Collaboration and Leadership:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud and cybersecurity solutions.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

Strategic Planning and Innovation:

• Stay updated on emerging trends in cloud computing and cybersecurity.
• Contribute to strategic roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed documentation on cloud architectures, security frameworks, and operational procedures.
• Report on system performance, security incidents, and compliance to stakeholders.

About You

Experience and Skills:

• At least 7 years of experience with distributed software systems and cloud operations.
• Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, vulnerability analysis, and secure infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in:
• Cloud services (e.g., Microsoft Azure).
• DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Kubernetes).
• Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• IAM and security tools (Keycloak, Vault, Trivy).
• Programming/scripting (Python, Bash).
• Linux system administration (Ubuntu, RedHat).
• Strong communication skills in English; additional language skills are an asset.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (OpenStack, VMWare).
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Programming in Go or Rust.
• Familiarity with TDD/BDD practices and ITIL processes.
