We are looking for a

PROJECT MANAGER

We are seeking Project manager to execute projects on our portfolio. Projects scope may vary from large scale “design, supply and construct” type of projects to smaller scale “design and supply” projects. All aspects of the projects are to be managed, including engineering, design, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning. Candidate may also join projects already in the proposal phase to assist commercial team in the initial project execution plan preparation and in the other key proposal phase activities and contracting. You will project primary contact with the customer and be responsible for meeting or exceeding as-sold financial objectives. You will apply the company’s work processes and instructions to plan, direct and control all project activities, while working closely and effectively with global execution team, customers, vendors, and subcontractors. In addition, you will ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, timely delivery of work, and achievement of a high degree of customer satisfaction.

This is primarily office-based position, with travel required for customer and partner meetings, and occasional internal meetings. During construction phase of the project temporary assignments construction sites may be required. We are seeking person to our Varkaus / Espoo office at Finland.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility of project and performance of the project
• Plans, organizes, leads the company assigned resources on the project according to the company’s applicable procedure, work processes and instructions to manage all project activities and achieve project objectives
• Ensure the compliance between project deliverables and contract terms requirement by managing Project Execution Team to achieve it
• Manage and control project risks and opportunities
• Act as a primary contact to customer, Manage project changes and negotiates them with the customer
• Communicate with all applicable project stakeholders
• Coordinate and approve project financials and schedules
• Prepare key project reports, and approve those prepared by others
• Ensure effective lessons learned and feedback process from project to others
• Assure the project is properly closed-out

Requirements

• Bachelor´s or Master degree in Engineering preferred
• Track record of managing project, preferably on projects including construction, on power industry or other relevant industry.
• Skilled in developing and cultivating customer & contractor relationships, comfortable and resourceful in customer-facing role during project bidding and execution, including presentation and negotiation skills
• Proven managerial skill of teamwork with parallel resources, results orientation, effective communication and coordination, decision–making, problem-solving with integration of all aspects of project activities
