Job Description

We are looking for a Data Modeler to join a prestigious banking client through Traverse. The ideal candidate will help build data models, map data, and establish robust data quality rules to support business analytics. This role requires collaboration with Data Engineers and Data Architects to ensure data is accurate, high quality, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement data models for analytics and data pipeline needs.
• Design models within data warehouses and data lakes, ensuring data is well-organized and accessible.
• Perform data mapping from various enterprise systems, define relationships, and set data quality rules.
• Address data quality issues and gaps with Data Engineers and Data Architects.
• Conduct data validation and resolve inconsistencies for reliable insights.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
• Collaborate across teams and translate data insights effectively.
  
  

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data modeling, data mapping, and analysis.
• Expertise in SQL and experience with data warehouses and data lakes.
• Experience with financial/banking data modeling is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work cross-functionally.
