Software Engineer

Mercor works with many top AI research labs to evaluate how their large language models perform on code-related tasks. We’re recruiting excellent software engineers to help us on these projects.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development, data engineering, data science, or similar fields.
• Contributions to major open source projects.

Some more details about the role:

• The work is fully asynchronous and remote, so you can work on your own schedule.
• Projects are somewhat spiky in availability, but there are ongoing projects most weeks. We find our experts are usually able to work 10-30 hours per week on live projects.
• Projects can involve analyzing model performance on a variety of code-related tasks, including code generation, debugging, refactoring, test creation, and more.

Pay: 20-30 USD/hr
