Appnovation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support the design, deployment, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for our clients. You will work closely with senior engineers to learn and contribute to modern DevOps practices, ensuring system reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, or CircleCI.
Collaborate on setting up and managing cloud environments in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure), with the flexibility to work with others as needed.
Support the implementation of monitoring and metrics solutions to track system performance.
Participate in patch management, system updates, and troubleshooting activities.
Contribute to the documentation of systems, processes, and best practices.
Work with senior engineers to identify opportunities for system improvements and implement solutions.
Gain hands-on experience in environment management, containerization, and automation tools.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with a focus on at least one cloud platform (experience in GCP is a plus) and an openness to work with others as required.
Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, or CircleCI, with experience in at least one.
Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Understanding of basic scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
GCP certifications (Architect, Developer, or DevOps Professional) are a bonus but not required.
