Compensation: $85,000/year CAD

Our client is a Shopify theme and They have worked with 100+ brands, including Every Man Jack, Neuro Gum, Gainful, Pet Honesty, and Bleacher Report, to increase profitability on their storefronts.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Designer with a strong background in UX/UI design for e-commerce platforms. In this role, you will play a critical part in creating high-converting Shopify stores by delivering user-centric, visually compelling, and functional design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Visual and Interaction Design

• Lead the design of seamless, engaging user experiences for Shopify e-commerce platforms.
• Develop visually appealing and highly functional designs that drive conversion and user satisfaction.

Collaboration

• Partner with product managers and engineers to align design implementations with business goals and technical feasibility.

Design Tools and Prototyping

• Utilize tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite to create design prototypes and high-fidelity mockups.
• Build and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and scalability.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, User Experience Design, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on e-commerce.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing for e-commerce platforms.
• Experience in creating and utilizing design systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication of design concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience designing for Shopify platforms is highly valued.
