Software Engineer

The Role

As we build on our success and expand into new markets, we are looking for passionate and talented Software Developers to build the next generation of web and mobile products. You will work in a team of amazing technologists with full ownership of multiple long-term products in a mixture of front and back end development on web and mobile applications.

• We regularly appraise new technologies but our stack mainly consists of:
• C#, .NET 8
• React + Typescript
• SignalR
• Docker + Azure Kubernetes
• Prometheus
• SQL Server / PostgreSQL / Entity Framework

If you are not an expert in these specific technologies but are familiar with an equivalent then we’re happy to train you.

We also work on various projects, including:

• Single page applications
• ASP.Net MVC applications
• Pure client side applications
• Full stack applications (SQL Database, Server, Front End)

Responsibilities

• Code: Contribute directly to the development of our products. Discuss technical solutions and make decisions balancing complexity, risk, technical debt and time to market.
• Collaborate: Work with product managers and team leads to clarify requirements, identify risks and tradeoffs, and propose technical solutions to tackle complex challenges. Demonstrate our applications to clients and gather feedback.
• Maintain: Identify areas of improvement within the codebase and then take ownership of fixing them.
• Support Teams: Work closely with Development, Automation, Quality Engineering and DevOps teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, psychological safety, and diversity, in order to find the best ways to build, test, deploy and support our products.
• Innovate: Implement best practices and evaluate new technologies.
