Mobility Specialist / HR Generalist


This role will primarily focus on managing employee mobility processes while also working on general HR functions.


Reporting to: Vice President Human Resources, Europe


Job Responsibilities


Employee Mobility


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Management and HR team for employee mobility, providing guidance and support throughout the process and providing timely follow-up and action to offer a seamless mobility experience
  • Liaise with external advisors to ensure the company is meeting legal requirements across Europe
  • Advise on aspects of employee mobility, including visa applications, A1 applications, travel planners and maintenance of documentation
  • Develop policies and procedures related to employee mobility, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations
  • Continuously identify and review opportunities to improve our processes and ensure relevant policies are aligned with business needs
  • Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and regulations, advising Senior Management on potential impacts to employee mobility regarding major projects
  • Enable records of employee mobility activities, including additional compensations
  • Collaborate with HR / Senior Managers to assess mobility needs and develop tailored mobility solutions with the help of external partners
  • Lead training sessions with EMEA HR team / Senior Management for any developments on employee mobility as necessary / train the Trainer
  • Supervise/coach HR team members on mobility cases across Europe
  • Deliver guidance sessions for employees on an individual basis and signpost third-party Consultants on sources of information to support their legal obligations
  • Maintain relationship with LSP Manager to ensure advice on LSP compliance is adhered to on future projects
  • Partner with the business on upcoming commercial engagements and advise on legal, tax and employment requirements to support short-term postings and long-term international assignments within Europe or to / from Europe
  • Drive the set-up process of new entities and countries as required by the business
  • Champion continuous compliance and robust governance across our business units in all jurisdictions
  • Work on individual cases as necessary across Europe for mobility compliance, including working closely with tax partners to ensure legal compliance


General HR Functions


  • Provide support for HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee experience and engagement
  • Assist with the administration and development of employee L&D programs, training initiatives (I&D Council participation) and work independently on HR projects as assigned
  • Support in the development, implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures
  • Assist/engage in any HR projects (compensation & benefits, performance management development etc.)
  • Assist/develop HR processes for Ireland
  • General administration of HR records
  • Onboard and offboard colleagues as required
  • Assist the HR Manager in recruitment initiatives as necessary
  • Serve as an advisor to colleagues on all HR matters
