Senior Software Engineer

Avenga is looking for a highly skilled Python Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Python Engineer, you will take part in the development of a new product from scratch and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Python applications and services.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Python (developing, testing, and maintaining applications).
• Proficiency in team collaboration tools (e.g., GIT, Jira, Confluence).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and application operations.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies is a plus.
• Exposure to transforming monolithic applications into microservices or scalable cloud architectures is advantageous.
• English - Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, efficient software applications.
• Collaborate with teams using GIT, Jira, and Confluence for seamless project workflows.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency.
• Contribute to transitioning applications to microservices or cloud-based architectures.
• Establish and support new teams, fostering a productive environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve codebase issues promptly.
• Write clean, well-documented, and PEP-compliant code.
