Manual Tester

Nomentia exists to empower treasury and finance teams to exceed expectations with treasury management software. As we continue to experience significant growth across multiple regions in Europe, we're excited to invite you to be a part of our R&D department in Tampere, Finland.

The role:

Your main responsibility is to test Nomentia’s cash and treasury management software. As Manual Tester you are part of product development, and you will work in one of our small agile teams. In this role you will work in close cooperation with developers, architects, testers, test automation specialists, UX designers and product managers to ensure high quality, stable, and secure system. You can live anywhere in Finland if you are willing to travel to Tampere from time to time.

Your responsibilities:

• Test highly scalable and secure applications according to the specifications coming from product management.
• Produce high quality and maintainable test plans, test cases and create test reports in accordance to company testing strategy.
• Report any problems identified in the tests to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in quality engineering activities along the software development lifecycle: specification, development, releasing and production.

Requirements:

• Work Experience: Understanding of the software development life cycle, software testing principles, processes, and techniques. Previous work experience in QA testing, including integration, system, regression, and user-acceptance testing.
• Agile Development & Team Work: The ability to work in agile development team, demonstrating analytical and problem-solving approach to work. Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Additional Proficiency: Proficiency in DevOps toolchain & cloud platform: CI (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.), Azure, AWS. Any experience from non-functional, especially load, performance, information security testing.
• Language Skills: Fluent English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Finnish language is a plus.
