Java Software Engineer

Please note that this role is full remote

Budget: 13000 - 16000 RON net/month

Type of collaboration: individual contract of work

What you need to succeed

• Thorough understanding of test methodology, test life cycle, bug life cycle

• Experience with Kotlin is a must

• Production/test Experience in Gaming/Animation industry is an added advantage

• Experience with any Animation software including Flash/Animate authoring tool.

• ACE certification is an advantage.

• Experience with any scripting language such as HTML, JavaScript, Perl, Python, shell, etc

• Should have ability to Write and maintain test specs and scripts

• Ability to interpret project specifications

• Works closely with development

• Good time management skills

• Superior communication skills

• Ability to use testing tools for product area

• Advanced knowledge of one core operation system

• Ability to take on new tasks

Requirements

• Education in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent (bachelor's or master's degree is a plus)

• Passion for web technologies, sharp eye for detail and critical thinking abilities

• Ability to easily learn new technologies

• Good knowledge of software testing fundamentals

• Good understanding of common testing methodologies and ability to apply them

• Ability to understand and interpret product specifications

• Good problem solving and diagnostic skills, experience with troubleshooting

Technical Skills & Experience

• Relevant experience in working with web technologies

• Knowledge of scripting and programming languages

• Familiar with automated testing tools

• Experience in developing test automation frameworks and systems

• Relevant experience in working with and developing applications based on: Java, Kotlin, ActionScript, JavaScript, Python

Work Environment

• Working in a Scrum team or in an Agile environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Fluent in English both verbal and written
