About

About the role

You will shape our next generation of EV charging solutions by driving application development on an embedded platform and translating system requirements into technical solutions. Your work will include adding functionality for communication with external systems and devices, as well as supporting our future generation of products. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our embedded software platform and the delivery of robust, high-quality products to our customers. Your key responsibilities are:

  • Translate system requirements into high-quality technical solutions implemented in our embedded software platform
  • Take ownership of software quality throughout the development lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain application level C++ code for Linux based systems
  • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to align design choices and system behaviour
  • Perform integration, debugging, and validation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in processes, tooling, and development practices

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Relevant experience as an Embedded Software Engineer working on Linux
  • Proven experience applying engineering principles and programming knowledge to build software solutions
  • Experience with C/C++
  • Experience with embedded build platforms such as Yocto
  • Experience with administrative and CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira)
  • Background in software development for automotive/EV/ISO15118 is a plus\Familiar with Scrum/Agile environment
  • A proactive team player who enjoys working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
  • Takes ownership, gets things done, and drives improvements with a hands-on mentality
