We are on the lookout for a Software Architect Senior to join our team for working with European Institutions based in Luxembourg in an On site position.

For this position you would be working with our client from the European institutions.

Below are the details of your role and requirements.

Your Role

  • Design and develop complex React-based applications.
  • Define scalable and maintainable frontend architectures, including micro-frontends.
  • Develop high-quality solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
  • Contribute to full-stack development activities (Java Spring Boot is a plus).
  • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Participate in technical design, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and project teams.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with React architecture and development
  • Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
  • Experience integrating REST APIs
  • Full-stack development experience
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience

Requirements

Who we think you are:

Financial Risk Applications & Banking Expertise

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the field of support in risk management applications.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in reporting banking solutions.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in similar positions.
  • Strong experience with maintenance, support and development of financial risk applications

in the banking sector.

  • Experience with applications focused on derivatives valuation.
  • Explicit knowledge of EIB Risk applications, especially RM Derivatives, is required.
  • Understanding of financial liquidity risk, derivatives valuation and risk application

environments.

  • Ability to work in a regulated banking or financial institution context.

Education & Languages

  • General IT background, preferably acquired through a university or college degree in

Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics or a related

field.

  • Senior / Specialist-level professional experience as defined under the Framework

Agreement.

  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Strong drafting skills in English are required for operational and technical documentation.
  • French would be considered an advantage.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience within the European Investment Bank, European Investment Fund or similar European institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of EIB Risk applications, especially RM Derivatives.
  • Experience with derivatives valuation systems.
  • Experience within financial liquidity risk or market risk environments.
  • Experience with complex Splunk dashboards for both technical and business audiences.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting experience.
  • Experience with Sybase to MSSQL migration.
  • Experience with Denodo and Business Objects.
  • Experience with IBM DataStage or comparable ETL tools.
  • Experience with GitHub and Azure DevOps in structured enterprise environments.
  • Experience with Python, Dash, Streamlit, Pandas or NumPy.
  • Experience with C# or in-house developed banking applications.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and machine learning integration would be an asset.
  • Experience maintaining virtual servers and CI/CD pipelines
