Your new company

We are looking to hire an experienced Full Stack Java Developer for a long-term regulatory technology programme. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global engineering team delivering high-impact applications within a modern enterprise environment.

You'll be working across both front-end and back-end development, building scalable, secure applications while collaborating with distributed teams across Europe, India and North America.

Your new role

• Design, develop and enhance full-stack applications using modern Java technologies.
• Build responsive front-end solutions using Angular, JavaScript and related technologies.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
• Work extensively with Oracle databases, writing and optimising complex SQL queries.
• Participate in testing, debugging, performance tuning and code reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Agile software delivery practices.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to deliver new features and system enhancements.
• Support a collaborative global development environment and share knowledge across the team.

What you'll need to succeed

• 6+ years' commercial experience as a Full Stack Java Developer.
• Strong Java development experience, ideally with Spring Boot.
• Excellent Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
• Strong Oracle database experience, including advanced SQL.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
• Good understanding of testing frameworks such as JUnit or Mockito.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Desirable skills - Python, Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark), Kafka or other messaging technologies, Cloud platforms such as AWS.
