Product Manager

Position Summary: We are seeking a high-caliber Product Manager specializing in All-Terrain Cranes for the European market. In this role, you will act as the vital bridge between European market insights and our China-based manufacturing and R&D facilities. You will be responsible for defining the product strategy, translating local market regulations and user needs into actionable product requirements, and driving the end-to-end development process with our domestic engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Market Insight & European Strategy: Conduct deep industry research, competitive benchmarking, and localized user research within the European crane market. Formulate the product market strategy, positioning, and medium-to-long-term development roadmaps tailored for European customers.
• Product Definition & Requirement Localization: Author comprehensive Product Requirements Documents (PRDs). Translate specific European operational habits, safety standards, and performance requirements into clear product definitions that can be seamlessly executed by China-based factories.
• Cross-Border Collaboration & Factory Liason: Coordinate and drive resources across R&D, Design, Testing, and Domestic Production departments. Effectively communicate the product vision and European design logic to domestic engineering teams, ensuring timely delivery that meets quality, compliance, and cost targets.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Collaborate closely with Regulatory Affairs to ensure all all-terrain crane products strictly comply with European certification standards (e.g., CE, ISO, EN13000, road regulations). Manage and mitigate localized technical and compliance risks.
• Go-to-Market Support: Develop product launch plans and localized marketing strategies for Europe. Provide sales and service teams with technical training and product materials to drive market penetration.
• Data Tracking & Lifecycle Optimization: Monitor the market performance and reliability feedback of deployed cranes in Europe. Drive continuous product optimization and version iterations based on data insights and customer feedback.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical fields.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management or R&D within the construction machinery industry. Direct experience with Crane products (specifically All-Terrain or Mobile Cranes) is strictly required.
• Industry Knowledge: Deeply familiar with construction machinery product development processes, heavy equipment manufacturing, and the specific technical architecture of cranes.
• Cross-Border Competence: Outstanding cross-cultural communication and project management skills. Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams across different geographies (Europe vs. China).
• Market & Analytical Skills: Strong business acumen, data interpretation capabilities, and logical thinking. Ability to translate complex user feedback into technical configurations.
