Senior IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer

At Randstad Digital, we are looking for an Senior IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer- Advanced English to join a leading edge energy innovation firm operating across the US, UK, and Argentina.

Employment Type: Permanent

Work Model: Full time, Hybrid (4 days on site, 1 day remote). The role will require full time on site presence during the initial onboarding period.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a multi site IT engineering team while owning budgets, vendor relationships, and operational SLAs/KPIs.
• Act as the senior authority on cybersecurity, threat detection, vulnerability management, and SOC 2 / SOX compliance frameworks.
• Strong background in cyber defense, threat Detection & Incident Response.
• Oversee and configure Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, Windows Server, and Intune/MEM.
• Experience with IAM and Zero Trust principles.
• Develop long term IT/Security roadmaps and present technical risk analysis to executive leadership.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, XDR, and SOAR platforms.
• Knowledge of Cloud Security, hybrid environments, and security architecture.

Technical Stack:

• Proficiency: Deep technical command of Microsoft Cloud (Entra ID, Intune, Azure Policies, Autopilot, M365) and multi-OS management (Windows, MacOS, Ubuntu). Expert knowledge of Zero Trust network implementations (Zscaler, VPNs, LAN/WLAN), directory architecture, identity security, ITIL frameworks, and automated workflows (Power Automate, Azure Automation). Basic SQL querying skills.
• Experience: 10-15+ years of progressive IT operations experience in roles such as Global IT Support Head, Infrastructure Analyst, or Core Applications Team Leader within distributed corporate matrices. Proven track record owning SOC 2 and/or SOX programs through full audit cycles (evidence, controls, and remediation).

Desired Certifications:

• Advanced Microsoft Security/Identity certifications (e.g., AZ-500, SC-300), CISSP, CISM, or ITIL Foundation.
