System Reliability Engineer

About the Role:

For our enterprise client, we are looking for a Senior System Reliability Engineer to support the on-premises hosting and establishment of the Validio platform via an OpenShift and Kubernetes-based containerized environment. In this role, you will contribute to building operational guidelines, manage infrastructure configurations, and help address rigorous IT Security (ITSEC) control requirements.

• Supporting the establishment, deployment, and ongoing operation of the platform within containerized environments.
• Contributing to the definition, documentation, and implementation of robust infrastructure operational guidelines.
• Addressing and resolving complex IT Security (ITSEC) control requirements to maintain environment compliance.
• Managing container orchestration, environment configurations, and access management infrastructure.
• Automating server administration tasks and optimizing continuous deployment workflows across diverse ecosystems.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of professional experience operating as a System Reliability Engineer, System Support Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer.
• Core infrastructure expertise in Kubernetes (including ArgoCD and Helm Charts) and OpenShift environments.
• Strong identity and access management exposure using Entra ID.
• Competence in multi-platform systems administration covering both Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Practical hands-on experience with core container tools (Docker) and modern CI/CD practices (Terraform, GitLab, or GitHub).
• Scripting capability for systems automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience implementing comprehensive monitoring and observability setups using Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.
• Broad understanding of commercial cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS) in hybrid setups.
• Foundational cybersecurity design expertise, specifically focusing on configuration management, enterprise encryption, and secure authentication.
