Product Manager – Data Platform

Cork (Hybrid - 3 Days Per Week Onsite)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Manager to join a growing product team focused on building the next generation of data infrastructure, business intelligence, and AI-driven analytics capabilities.

This role is ideal for someone early in their Product Management career who enjoys working closely with engineering and data teams, has a strong technical curiosity, and wants to help shape foundational platform capabilities that support multiple products and business functions.

What You'll Do

Data Platform & Product Delivery

• Contribute to the delivery of data platform initiatives across data ingestion, transformation, storage, and presentation layers.
• Define requirements for data pipelines, platform capabilities, data models, and configuration features.
• Work closely with engineering teams to translate business and technical requirements into well-defined deliverables.
• Help prioritise platform workstreams while managing dependencies across multiple initiatives.
• Own and drive specific product workstreams from requirements through to delivery.
• Track progress, identify risks, and communicate blockers effectively across stakeholders.

Business Intelligence & Analytics

• Support the development of modern business intelligence and reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with teams delivering dashboards, analytics, reporting, and data visualisation solutions.
• Help ensure platform readiness for downstream BI, analytics, and AI initiatives.
• Contribute to roadmap planning and dependency management across platform and reporting projects.

Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

• Build strong relationships with engineering, data, and product stakeholders.
• Participate in customer feedback sessions, product discovery activities, and usability testing initiatives.
• Gather insights from users and stakeholders to help shape product requirements and priorities.
• Clearly communicate product decisions, trade-offs, and progress updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Product Discovery & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct discovery activities to understand underlying business needs and customer challenges.
• Use data, feedback, and product metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Balance feature delivery with platform quality, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Support the continuous evolution of platform capabilities and product processes.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of Product Management experience within SaaS, enterprise software, data, analytics, or technology-focused environments.
• Experience delivering software products or features from concept through to release.
• Strong ability to work with engineering teams on technical topics including APIs, integrations, data models, and system architecture.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities within fast-moving product organisations.
• Ability to break complex problems into manageable deliverables and prioritised workstreams.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to modern data platforms, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, or analytics ecosystems.
• Knowledge of SQL and reporting concepts.
• Experience with BI platforms and data visualisation tools.
• Interest in AI, machine learning, and data-driven product development.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
• Familiarity with discovery methodologies such as Jobs-to-be-Done is advantageous.
