Autobahn

Autobahn is the Deutsche Bank’s digital platform for Corporate and Investment bank, enabling seamless delivery of 800 core business services to more than 200000 internal & external users through UI and API channels. Autobahn is continuously recognised by the clients as state-of-the-art product with multiple industry awards over recent years. Consolidated architectural vision and technical execution creates significant efficiencies for Deutsche Bank and consolidates strong technology expertise across multiple groups and teams.

As a technical platform, we streamline the delivery of apps and services to end users, addressing many common technical, security and regulatory requirements. For end users, we provide a unified access to a universe of services offered by Deutsche Bank in a consistent but personalised manner. Advanced behaviour analytics and quantitative UX helps to tailor user experience further for individual needs and purposes and continuously improve on our products. Platform covers Desktop, standalone Web, Mobile, IM and API channels and has a diverse suite of core service to support individual businesses and applications. Due to a diverse nature of the platform, we operate across different languages technologies such as JS/React, Kotlin/Java, Swift & .NET and operate in Agile delivery model.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Kotlin as part of the Autobahn Platform team
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and support
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance Engineers and Business Analysts to understand and implement functional and non-functional requirements
• Contribute to the integration and enhancement of platform APIs and shared services
• Work closely with UX designers and frontend engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences
• Support the continuous improvement of application performance, reliability, and security
  
  
  

Your Skills And Experiences

• Solid experience in backend software development using Java and/or Kotlin
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience with REST APIs and modern backend architectures
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in an international team environment
