Senior PHP Developer

PHP Developer/ Développeur/ Développeuse, PHP, SQL required to join a growing global business in a permanent position offering an excellent package and hybrid working. This role would be based around Marseille on a hybrid basis. Open to candidates based around Gémenos, Aix-en-Provence, Toulon, and surrounding areas.

PHP Developer to join a collaborative team working on business-critical platforms, integrations, and connected technology solutions. Working alongside the Technical Lead, you will develop and maintain scalable applications while contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PHP/SQL-based applications and platforms
• Build APIs, integrations, and scalable software solutions
• Collaborate with the Technical Lead and wider development team
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance
• Contribute to code reviews and development best practices
• Support CI/CD processes and automated testing initiatives
• Work closely with stakeholders to deliver business requirements

Technical Skills Required

• Strong PHP experience (Laravel or Symfony preferred)
• Solid SQL and database knowledge
• Experience with REST APIs and integrations
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
