The successful candidate will design, develop, and support enterprise-scale applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies while working in a regulated banking environment.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer for a contract opportunity with a leading banking organization in Toronto. The successful candidate will design, develop, and support enterprise-scale applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies while working in a regulated banking environment.
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of Full Stack Development experience
- Mandatory Banking / Financial Services experience
- Angular, React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Node.js, NestJS, Express.js
- GraphQL and REST API development
- Microservices architecture
- MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Docker, AWS, OpenShift/Cloud Foundry
- CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins
- Agile/Scrum delivery model
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
- Build modern web applications and APIs using Angular/React and Node.js technologies.
- Develop and support GraphQL, REST services, and microservices.
- Collaborate with business, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in application modernization, upgrades, and cloud deployments.
- Ensure compliance with banking security and governance standards.
- Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices.
- AI-assisted development tools and developer productivity platforms
- LaunchDarkly, Snyk, and developer tooling experience
- VS Code extension development
- Nginx, Apache, and container platform monitoring
- Real-time applications and WebSockets
- SaaS platform development experience
