Data Analyst

StartupHeroes is seeking a Data Analyst to help generate insights and drive data-informed decision-making for one of Turkey's largest e-commerce platforms. You will join a team working on production-grade data systems that support operational analytics, business performance tracking, and strategic decision-making across the organization.

In this role, you will work with large datasets, build reliable reporting workflows, and turn complex data into clear and actionable insights. We are looking for analysts who enjoy solving business problems with data, have a strong analytical mindset, and are comfortable working across both reporting and pipeline-driven analytics environments.

What you will be doing:

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau to support operational and strategic teams.
• Write efficient and reliable queries in BigQuery for reporting, analysis, and ad hoc business needs.
• Support the development and maintenance of analytics workflows and data pipelines using Airflow.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to define metrics, track performance, and improve decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across reporting and analytics outputs.

What you should have:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• A good understanding of data visualization and reporting principles.
• A solid understanding of relational and non-relational database management systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or another relevant field.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with BigQuery and large-scale analytical querying.
• Practical experience building dashboards and reports with Tableau.
• Familiarity with Airflow and workflow-based data processes.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics infrastructure.
• Familiarity with data quality, observability, and monitoring practices.
