Data Scientist / Data Analyst - Automotive

WeQuel is looking for a Data Scientist / Data Analyst

We are currently seeking experienced Data Scientists and Data Analysts for assignments within the automotive industry in the Stockholm/Södertälje area. You will work in a data-driven environment where your analytical models and tools directly support strategic business decisions – from pricing and asset management to lifecycle planning for next-generation vehicle platforms.

You are someone who combines strong technical skills with a genuine curiosity for how data can solve real business problems, and you are comfortable working across both analytical and engineering disciplines.

We are looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

• Building analytical models that support business decisions, such as forecasting, pricing, or lifecycle planning
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL as core working tools
• Developing dashboards, analytical prototypes, or APIs
• Working with large datasets and translating findings into actionable insights
• Collaborating with data engineering teams to ensure reliable and scalable outputs
• Relevant degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or Engineering
  
  

Meritorious:

• Experience from the automotive industry
• Background in residual value modelling, financial analytics, or asset management
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with cloud environments or BI tools such as Power BI or Snowflake
  
  

Location: Stockholm/Södertälje

Language requirements: Fluent English required, Swedish is a merit
