Data Scientist - International Organization

At NTT DATA Luxembourg, we are seeking an experienced data scientist who wishes to integrate the Data Management department of one of the biggest International Organization and who is passionate about delivering insights daily and feature engineering. The ideal candidate will have to help in the data transformation using Big Data & AI methodologies, as well as create and put into place forecasting and statistical models based on relevant data. While mining, interpreting already existing data, you will be relied on to ask questions, connect the dots and provide support for automated decision-making processes. As part of the Data Analytics' team, you will also have to assist analysts and developers in the deployment of production models. Basically, you will have to 'slice and dice' data using various methods and create new visions.

RESPONSABILITIES :

* Developing and implementing machine learning models and automated learning processes to solve business related issues ;

* Identifying and collecting relevant data sources and sets to mine for business needs ;

* Devising and using algorithms and models to mine big-data stores ;

* Performing data and error analysis to improve models ;

* Cleaning data from diverse sources for uniformity and accuracy ;

* Analyzing data for trends and patterns, and interpreting data with clear objectives ;

* Collaborating with other teams to integrate solutions based on the system's data

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS :

* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in IT, statistics, applied mathematics, or related discipline ;

* Demonstrate +5 years of experience in data science related projects ;

* Experience with the following programming languages: Python, SQL, Scala ;

* Experience with data analytics engine Spark/Hadoop and Dataiku platform ;

* Strong knowledge in machine learning techniques ;

* Good command of data processing tools such as Pandas, Numpy ;

* Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis ;

* Experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling ;

* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented group that has several projects ;

* Good command of English is mandatory (C1 level) ;
