Job Description
Our client, a leading professional services organisation, is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex technology initiatives. Job Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technical projects, ensuring objectives, timelines and quality standards are achieved.
- Develop and maintain project plans, governance structures and delivery roadmaps.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and budgets, ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are in place.
- Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders, providing clear communication and regular project updates.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, third-party suppliers and delivery partners to ensure successful project execution.
- Facilitate project governance meetings and provide reporting to senior leadership and steering committees.
- Support the implementation of project management best practices, standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure project deliverables align with business objectives and deliver measurable value.
Experience Required
- Minimum of 6 years' experience managing large-scale technical projects within enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex technology transformation or systems integration programmes.
- Strong understanding of project governance, delivery methodologies and programme lifecycle management.
- Experience managing project budgets, timelines, risks, issues and resource planning.
- Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making across technical and business teams.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating third-party vendors.
- Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
- Ability to work across multiple workstreams while maintaining a strategic view of programme delivery.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working across cloud migration, ERP, CRM, data, digital transformation or systems integration projects.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, PRINCE2 or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience within consulting, professional services or other complex enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with project portfolio management and governance frameworks.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience supporting business development or project planning activities.
- Exposure to IT service management or operational transformation initiatives.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional Project Management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, PMBOK, SAFe or equivalent is highly desirable.
