Senior Product Designer

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to help take Groweo® to the next level.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our future product and experience for our customers. You’ll work closely with your designer colleagues, developers and stakeholders to deliver a beautiful and performant experience for Groweo® users.

The role is based in our central Helsinki office, where you'll work closely with the rest of the product team. Once you get accustomed to our ways of working, you can transition to a hybrid model if you want (one remote day per week).

Please note: To qualify for this position, you need to be located in Finland and also have an existing work permit. We do not offer relocation or visa services at this moment.

Who You Are

You are an experienced product design professional with 8+ years of design experience in general. You have built a broad background in product design, looking beyond just apps or web. Ideally, your experience includes working in both agency and in-house environments.

You have a proven track record in designing consumer-grade simplicity within complex B2B workflows. You prefer to stay close to the work instead of just strategy, and you are a clear, concise, low-BS collaborator. Your working style is iterative yet intentional: you avoid both over-polishing and careless shipping.

You know how to leverage AI to augment your design workflow effectively. You have a solid grasp of the current AI toolscape and the judgment to know when to automate a task and when to rely on your own craft and intuition.

You have excellent communication skills in English, and you’re comfortable with communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You have a strong product thinking mindset – you care not only about what we are building, but also the why. Working in an agile, fast-moving environment is familiar for you, and you already know that you excel in the constant change of a scaling SaaS company. You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and you demand the same from your peers and team.

Your Day-to-day Work Will Consist Of The Following

• Transforming business goals into structured design problems and actionable project directions
• Managing the design process from initial exploration and wireframing to high-fidelity UI and final shipping
• Executing polished visual and interaction designs, ensuring excellence in typography, spacing, motion, and responsiveness
• Building and maintaining reusable components and patterns, ensuring product-specific designs align with broader system integrity
• Producing clear, technical-grade specifications and collaborating closely with engineers during implementation to ensure high-fidelity builds
• Engaging in low-friction, high-clarity communication with stakeholders, acting as a proactive product partner rather than a passive service provider.

You already know that you thrive in loosely defined problem spaces with evolving requirements. You self-direct your work, prioritize effectively, and create structure where none yet exists. You are able to move fluidly between exploration, definition and execution without heavy process scaffolding.

A Seasoned Professional With Craft As a First-class Discipline

You possess strong visual and interaction design fundamentals (typography, spacing, hierarchy, motion). You produce polished, coherent UI that holds up in production – not just concept-level work. You understand micro-interactions, responsiveness, and system consistency, and have a clear sense of quality bar and taste.

You’ll get extra points for having…

• Experience in early-stage or scaling SaaS environments
• Experience in design systems, developing, expanding and maintaining them.
• Background in growth, onboarding, or activation flows
• Motion/interaction depth beyond static screens
