API Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with extensive experience in TypeScript, backend development, cloud-native applications, and system integrations. This is primarily a backend-focused role where you will design and build scalable services, APIs, and integrations that power our products and connect with internal and third-party platforms.

You will play a key role in architecting modern applications using TypeScript across the stack, leveraging AWS services to build secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. While frontend experience is required, the majority of your work will focus on backend services, integrations, cloud infrastructure, and application architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Develop robust integrations with third-party SaaS platforms, payment providers, CRMs, ERPs, identity providers, and internal systems.
• Design event-driven and asynchronous architectures using AWS messaging services.
• Develop cloud-native applications using AWS serverless and container-based technologies.
• Create reusable TypeScript libraries and shared services used across multiple applications.
• Build secure authentication and authorization workflows using OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
• Design and implement API gateways, middleware, and integration layers.
• Develop frontend components and user interfaces using React and TypeScript where required.
• Build automated deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise production applications.
• Participate in solution architecture, technical design, code reviews, and mentoring.
